"Looks great. I bought it to help keep my all black interior temp down when driving. With the sun beating through the front window, it sometimes felt like I had the defroster on hot full blast! So I got the SMOKE colored velour dash cover which is really a light grey (almost silver)color. But I knew from reading all the other reviews that the colors would be lighter than they looked on the screen. I didn't want a dark color, because that would defeat the purpose I think of trying to reduce the heat the sun creates on darker surfaces. It still creates a glare on the windshield like my shiny black dash always did anyways, but I don't get that blast of hot air coming accross the dash at me anymore! So, for what I got it for, it works great! I didn't even use any of the tape to hold it down. I've only had it for a couple of weeks, but it seems to sit just fine on the dash by itself. And I didn't need it to be completely flush on the front. I don't care if there's a small gap. I'd rather have a gap than put sticky tape on my dash. Fit is great. In the Monte you'll have to poke it back between the dash and windshield for it to stay on it's own."

"Fit was good overall except for the dash indent on the top of the r/s. Color was a little lighter than the sample picture. Seam stitching was good but loose ends were left and had to be trimmed. For a non-formed mat this product will work quite well at protecting the dash."

"The shopping experience was great, shipping was fast. The quality of the product however is not what I expected. The seams show, the stitching is like it was done by a sewing student and material is junk. It lays on the dash like a bumpy mat and puffs up where it should lay flat. My wife wanted me to send it back for a refund but I decided to keep it. I hope it holds up the the Hawaiian Sun."

"This soft dash mat fits perfectly even accounting for the automatic headlight sensor. Of course, it helped that the 2006 Corolla is the same as the 2005 because there is no 2006 listing. But all in all, fast delivery was a plus too."

"I have purchased 4 dashmats for my previous cars. I have always found them made well and easy to install. I have had some problems matching the colors and usually had to return my original choice for a darker color. I did not know Dashmat had a new molded version and kinda wished I had tried that version instead. Guess the next time I will. No complaints at all."
