2001 Dodge Ram Dash Mat

"I was happy at the ease the dash mat went into place and with all the cutouts right where they were supposed to be. The color was also a perfect match to the interior. My only complaint was that there were only 3 small velcro strips and there might as well been none! To get it properly installed I had to go to the store and buy additional velcro strips which totaled 72" additional and now it fits like a glove. I would think that with the price a length of velcro, at least 80" would be supplied so that everything looks almost factory installed once put down. As for covering the unsightly huge cracks and breaks in the dash itself you'd never even know there were any now."

"good fit. surprisingly actually. there is a gap in the mat i'm not sure for what. but ironically it just so happened to be in the exact spot as the crack in my dash, which made me buy this in a first place. but it was easy to match material and fill it."

"The dash in my truck was severely cracked. I ordered the Dash Mate, when it arrived I was on my way to work. I took it out of the box and installed it in less than 2 minutes just to see how it looked. It looks great and I still have not installed it correctly (with the double back tape that came with it) but it has not moved. I love it and now my co-worker wants to order one for his Camero."

"I ordered 2 dash covers, Kia Sorento and a PT Cruiser. The cover for the PT Cruiser is great. Had no problems. The one for the Sorento is a different story. Couldnt get the velcro tabs to stick to my dash. The Sorento dash also has lots of grooves, valleys and hills. So the cover pops up in places and doesnt lay clean."

"I was expecting a better quality item than what I received, it's the same quality as the dash mat I bought at the swap meet [seriously] lightweight would be my description of the fabric. I wouldn't recomend this product to any of my friends."

Color choice wrong

"It was strickly my fault that I chose the wrong color for my truck. I chose gray but my dash is a dark gray and it was light gray. It fit well but the light gray is too much contrast of color and it reflects on the winshield. I will probably just order another in dark gray, it is not very expensive, and find somebody to give the ligt gray one to. The item is great quality and inexpensive though."

"I BOUGHT THE ORIGINAL DASH MAT BECAUSE I HAD PREVIOUSLY ORDERED THE SIGNATURE SERIES DASH MAT (WITH MY NAME ON IT) AND WAS UNABLE TO RETURN IT BECAUSE IT WAS "CUSTOMIZED", EVEN THOUGH IT DID NOT FIT PROPERLY. THE FIT WAS TO THE PASSENGERS SIDE TOO MUCH (TO ALIGN WITH THE DASH HEATER VENT) WHICH LEFT THE DRIVERS SIDE SHOWING A BIG GAP. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE SIGNATURE SERIES AND DO NOT RECOMMEND HAVING IT MONOGRAMMED, AS YOU CAN NOT RETURN IT IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS."

"The DashMat is pretty nice and fits well. It's easy to install and I didn't use the velcro. It is well made and lays fairly flat. I bought it because I've seen alot of Chevy dashes crack and I don't want that to happen to mine. I researched the other types DashMat sells, but I liked the original the best. The smoke color matches my dark grey dash really well as well."

"To eliminate dashboard glare, I ordered the mat for a 2000 Chrysler LHS with "heat sensor" and "light sensor". The heat sensor opening was non-existent and the light sensor was obscured so as to keep the lights on even during an Arizona afternoon. I ended up measuring and cutting a hole for the heat sensor and enlarging the light sensor hole. Now everything works excellently, with no glare as well as properly activated sensors."
