BOUGHT FOR A PURPOSE

"I BOUGHT THE ORIGINAL DASH MAT BECAUSE I HAD PREVIOUSLY ORDERED THE SIGNATURE SERIES DASH MAT (WITH MY NAME ON IT) AND WAS UNABLE TO RETURN IT BECAUSE IT WAS "CUSTOMIZED", EVEN THOUGH IT DID NOT FIT PROPERLY. THE FIT WAS TO THE PASSENGERS SIDE TOO MUCH (TO ALIGN WITH THE DASH HEATER VENT) WHICH LEFT THE DRIVERS SIDE SHOWING A BIG GAP. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE SIGNATURE SERIES AND DO NOT RECOMMEND HAVING IT MONOGRAMMED, AS YOU CAN NOT RETURN IT IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS."

"The DashMat is pretty nice and fits well. It's easy to install and I didn't use the velcro. It is well made and lays fairly flat. I bought it because I've seen alot of Chevy dashes crack and I don't want that to happen to mine. I researched the other types DashMat sells, but I liked the original the best. The smoke color matches my dark grey dash really well as well."

"To eliminate dashboard glare, I ordered the mat for a 2000 Chrysler LHS with "heat sensor" and "light sensor". The heat sensor opening was non-existent and the light sensor was obscured so as to keep the lights on even during an Arizona afternoon. I ended up measuring and cutting a hole for the heat sensor and enlarging the light sensor hole. Now everything works excellently, with no glare as well as properly activated sensors."

"This dash mat has met my expectations. The quality is excellent. The only downside, which is very minor, is that it comes only with 2 small pieces of velcro which are already attached where the mat goes above the steering wheel. I had to add another 3 strips to the passenger side of it so it will be secure enough for my taste."

"The Original Dash Mat is of good quality, but could stand to benefit from stronger adhesive on the Velcro strips. Also the seams should probably be less obvious. Overall the dashmat makes my cracked dash look nice once again."

"I had a bad dash that was cracked from the sun. This is like a rug for your dash. Not as plush as some, but a lot better than cracked vinyl."

"Looked nice in box, put it on dash and doesn't quite fit. I probably wouldn't buy again. Bought my dash mat for my 2002 Chevy Silverado at a swapmeet for $20 bucks. Which had better material and a better fit plus matched my interior exactly!"

"Dash Mat was cut to fit, but several seams were off enough to keep it from following dash contours. Hopefully time, gravity and temperature will lay it down right. Clearly not enough hold down tape was included in kit, as others have noted."

"The mat I received looks good and fit the dashboard well. The reason I bought the mat was to protect the dashboard from sun damage. I notice however, that the material is so thin and the weave so open that the sun actually shines through it. It seems that the whole purpose of the mat (for me) is somewhat compromised."

"I am truly amazed. Usually,shopping by internet,can be a dissappointment,but what a surprize,when my "Dashmat" arrived,everything was perfect. I removed it from the box,unrolled it and laid it on the dash of my 2001 Blazer,and it fit and looked perfect. The color was perfect,the fit and quality were better than I expected.
