Bought grey dotted suede dash cover for 2011 Honda Fit Sport to calm the glare from big windshield. Light color accentuated glare. Duhhh! After talking with Auto Anything tech, recommendation for black suede cover. I initially discounted black for possibility of added heat to interior. After exchange for black...and install (wish there was more Velcro), I'm thrilled to discover glare gone. Cross country road trip much easier on eyes now and any added heat is abated by sunshade when parked.

I got the black suede dash cover and it fits perfect. Looks great. And a great product for the price. I'm very happy with my purchase. All the cut outs were perfectly placed also.

Looks great. Fits great. Suggest cleaning the dash with alcohol before putting Velcro down. Could have a little more material between the defrost vents. There is about 1 inch of dash between the vents and only half inch of suede.

I currently have a black dash board with a soft grey interior. I live in Guam where it is very hot so I am starting to have cracks in my dash board hence why I want to buy a cover. My question is which color would be best for my vehicle with glare and heat in mind; the black or light grey?

Do these dash covers still allow the passenger airbag to function properly?
Answered by Michael K. — Jun 19, 2012 4:59 PM
Hi CF, if your Civic has a designated panel for an airbag, the dashcover will have a flap over the airbag which will not impair its operation.

I drive a 2007 Saturn Vue Hybrid. Is there a cut or opening on the dash cover that allows for the light sensor? The light sensor is on the dash passenger side near the hood and looks like a "bump."

My son's car is the beige looking interior with the suede look on the doors and lower dash. The upper dash is a darker beige color and the suede look lighter. If you know the year car. Which colors would look better on the dash...match the suede that's in there with the mocha, or the oak or taupe. I'm not sure what color will match the year interior. Thanks
