I purchased a dash cover for my 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek it fit perfectly. I was expecting the same fit. This dash cover was ordered for my 2018 Subaru Outback. The material is what I ordered but the fit and finish is not what I expected. The center section that exposes the radio and AC controls is narrow and covers the the chrome trim, the side window defrost vents are partially covered when centered to expose the light sensor. Just not the quality i expected. X

It didn't fit well. I never expected it to be perfect but it's not even close. Once I installed it with the velcro they supply the lid on the upper glove compartment will only open 2". 8" is open so it can't be used. Cuts they made and sewn along the sides of the compartment are too narrow and don't follow the contours cotrectly. It also doesn't lay flat over radio or instrument cluster. I will be using a lot of double sided tape to try and somewhat correct what problems I can.

The mat is good. Comes with pre-positioned sewn velcro points. However, there are three problems. They provide (1) way too little velcro, (2) too few alcohol pads to clean the velcro install points, and (3) too few sewn velcro points. You will need to bring your own rubbing alcohol and velcro to the party. Why is the manufacturer so cheap? It would cost them very little to do the job right.
