I have a Ford Freestyle and there is a piece from the glove box to the woodgrain that is unfinished. No seam, just a piece hanging therer.

The Freestyle we have has a tan interior and the reflective glare on the windshield was very annoying to say the least. The velour cover we bought is black, and our annoyance is gone. It fits perfectly, including the holes for the air conditioning and the flap for the storage compartment on top of the dash. My wife is not crazy about the black color and wondered whether a color that matched the interior or the exterior (merlot) would also work on the glare, but we won't go there. I have no qualms about recommending this cover to other Freestyle owners.

My only negative is concerning the Velcro attachment method. That did not work for me. The Velcro does not stick well enough to hold it tight against the dash. I used hot glue and hopefully this summer it'll stay put when temps get high in the vehicle. You could use a more permanent adhesive but to try it out the hot glue works for me.
