In the process of returning it. Where to begin with the issues of this dash cover. Poor craftsmanship, cover was not long enough for my dash, it was about 1 1/2" to short, there was no cut out for my headlight sensor so my lights were on all the time, the part of the dash cover that is arched to protect the top area of my dials starts flush with the dash and then proceeds to stick out over 2" past my dash. No amount of shifting the cover could ever make it work. Vent cuts were in the place.

The cover is nice but was missing a cutout for the headlite auto on/off sensor. It is in the manual on page 2-33 but the company still wanted us to mark exactly where it was before they would cut it out for us. We just did it ourselves but they should have done it, NO HASSLE.

The CoverKing dash cover fits perfectly. Followed the directions to avoid wrinkles, put down the Velcro and WahLah, no more glare from the dash. Thanks for the great experience. Will probably order one for my wife's vehicle.

The cover has a tight fit and makes the dash look like it was made with carpet from the factory. However I ordered the black, and there is a slight blue haze to it. I was hoping for something a little thicker, but overall I love it. I reccomend to anyone buying it. Being on the dash, they can get dirty quick but all you have to do is Brush it off with your hand, all hair, cigarette ash, dirt comes off easy as ever

What are you calling the "center sensor"? There is a half-moon shaped sensor(?) located forward (closest to windshield) of the defroster grid. This is a 2013 SS without heads-up display.

Hi Samuel, Either you have a sensor on the dash or you don't. In this case, it sounds like you do have the "center sensor".

Does that fit on right hand drive models too?
Answered by Elizabeth C. — Jul 03, 2012 5:01 PM
Hey there. Sorry. Our dash mats, as with all of our accessories, are designed for North American vehicles that are left hand drive only. Thank you for your question.

Not sure what the four (4) submodels I should choose. I don't know what the "sensor" is, and does "speaker" mean that they're will be openings for the speaker? Please help... I'm ready to purchase! Thanks!
Answered by Elizabeth C. — Jul 06, 2012 1:42 PM
Hi Charley, the sensor is either for lights or climate control. If your vehicle's headlights come on automatically at night, you have a light sensor, and If you have climate control, you have a climate sensor. Either way, you'll see a sensor on your dash, and a small opening will be made in your cover to allow its function. The speaker will not have a cut out, as the porus material will allow sound to come through, but the speaker may need a different dashmat shape, so it's important to indicate if you have one.

Will the velour dash cover damage my original dash?
Answered by Elizabeth C. — Jul 03, 2012 2:15 PM
Hello. This dash cover will not damage your dash at all. On a plastic dash, it actually can protect it by keeping harmful rays from making it crack or warp.
