AVS Chrome Aeroskin Hood Protector Reviews

AVS Aeroskin

Reviewed By Harold N (Slidell, LA) —7/1/2015 9:32 PM

I replaced the bug shield on my 2013 Chevy Suburban with AVS Aeroskin. I was in a hurry and the right side dropped a little lower that the left side it was stuck forever. I had to shave a little of the bottom on the right side to match the Left. But I was impressed that Lund responded to my email and made sure that I was satisfied with their product. Very satisfied with AutoAnything and my aeroskin.

Plastic srew inserts did not fit snug

Reviewed By Brian K (ORLANDO, FL) Reviewed for a 2015 Toyota Tundra —7/1/2015 5:57 PM

The inserts that go into the factory holes under the hood did not fit snugly in the holes. I put larger sheet metal screws in to solve the problem. Other than that, it works great. Have to make sure the top is where you want it and don't peel back 2 inches, just peel enough to get ahold of it as that tape is super sticky and hard to pull off if not in the right place while you fumble around with the screws lining up the holes.
