The first step in the directions said to remove & discard the rubber seal under the hood. Instead, I pulled the connector out of the seal & swapped it for a longer connector from another seal. The longer connector allowed me to put the rubber seal on top of the deflector & securely fadten both. Made for a nice finished look under the hood. The deflector looks awesome.
