Fast Shipping and also very pleased with this product. The AVS aeroskin protector with its sleek design sits well on the tip of the hood, also giving the Scion tC an aggressive look. Definitely a great addition for those who like to add some style to their car. By the way protects your hood from rock chips or dents.

the aeroskin only protects the area that it is covering. I do not see any protection for the rest of the hood. if it had a slight lip on the side toward the windshield it may help. it does look good on the car.

Very easy to install, looks very cool. The peel backing on the double stick could have been better though. I was very careful not to pull it off to fast, but it still broke a couple of times. Again, not a "biggie", looks great!

Purchased smoke colored version to cover minor dents/damage from rocks. Very easy installation, and looks great on vehicle. Easy to apply, be careful to follow instructions (pre-fit, start from middle, work out to sides) and installation is easy.

Simple instructions, no drilling or any hardware at all, just 3M tape holds it on. Putting it on alone can be a little tricky regarding centering the protector so the ends align at the same position on both sides. No notice in instructions regarding effect of tape on paint or how to remove protector if desired. Called factory- no impact on factory paint and to remove- use a piece of thin fishing line under tape or 3M tape remover solution. Would get again. Hardly noticeable.

Are the stick hood protectors designed to come off or are they "on for good?" Has anyone ever tried to get the protector off? And anything else you can tell me about getting if off if you want to. I'm not crazy about sticking something to the hood of my 2011 vehicle but I'll listen to your comments. Thanks,

I'm interested in this product, but based on the above comment, would the lifetime warranty cover if it starts to come off only after 6 mos? And, does itleave any residue once it's off? Thanks!flag Accept Answer

I wouldn't recommend this product. I only had mine on my for 6 months before it started peeling up and then complete came off while going down the road. Not worth the money!!flag Accept Answer
