"Well-made and simple to follow directions. Best to clean the hood well before installation. Clear looks way better than "smoke," but that is a judgement call. Installation is easy---the hood stickers seem superfluous--the deflector should NEVER bend that much!
Overall, a quality product that installs as advertised with the exception that the side screws go in without washers as shown in the instructions."

"Exceptionally easy to install in less than 10 minutes and fit perfectly on my GMC envoy. The only thing I wouldd like to be different is to not have the name on the surface of the deflector be so visible (it is white on the otherwise charcoal color of the deflector) and to have the overall height of the deflecter be slightly taller.
Overall an very good product at an a very reasonable price that was a snap to install."

As advertised, it protects the vehicle paint from bugs, tar, and stones.
However, the smoke color improved our vehicles appearance too.

"Installed on my 07 Hyundai Santa Fe. Superb fit and finish. Mounting holes lined up perfectly and rock solid when installed. Follows hood contour. Believe it reduces bugs hitting the windshield after a 600 mile weekend drive in the mid-west."

"The bug reflector looks great on the truck, but the screws are of low quality (I broke two of them with minimal effort)and the screw retainers that fit up in the holes in the hood were too small and fell out. I had to secure the deflector with my own screws and retainers"
