"this is avery durable deflector. i bought this for my 2005 nissan murano. the only issue i had with the deflector was the installation. after installing the deflector by the instructions my hood would not close all the way. i know this is a new product for the murano since they are new vehicles themselves. by the instructions the deflector sits out away from the hood to much. i mounted the deflector back closer to the hood and my hood closed with no problem. other than that i am very pleased with my purchase and the product. great service and at a resonable cost... thank you bryan"

"the only issue I had was the fasteners were weak and most broke during install . seems the area that fits between the outer edge of the bug deflector to the inner edge of the hood isnt wide enough to hold properly . other than that seems to work fine and looks great . would I recommend this product to friends yes I would ."

"The Bugflector II fit real nice on my Truck, it feels good and solid and it dosen't need the bumpers to rest on the hood, seems to fit much better than other reflectors that I had on my other trucks."

"It doesn't fit too well as it only uses useless plastic screws. I have already broken mine at the car wash as the edges extend past the hood and can get caught on things, like the car wash brush when washing the hood. I would buy a different brand but this is the only one that comes clear, so I can paint it to match my vehicle color."

"I have purchased and installed other bug shields on other vehicles that I have owned, and have never encountered this. After following the install directions, I decided to go for a drive to test the fit and performance of the bug shield. The grooves in the inside lip of the deflector matched up with the underside of the hood, and the screws were properly installed with the washers. The shield was measured and centered on the hood. Under 50 mph, there were no problems, but at highway speeds, the amount of wind noise and vibration from the shield was louder than the car itself. At 70 mph, the front end of my SUV actually became unstable and started to drift in the lane due to the change in wind deflection over the front of my vehicle. I will be requesting a full refund for this product."

Not up to Standard

"Not up to the standards I am used to from AVS. Installed easy, but the plastic was warped so it does not provide a smooth line. I have had other AVS products; however, this one is poor quality. The one I got for my 2003 Tundra was quality this one failed quality control"

"Good design. Predrilled holes are perfectly matched up with the hood. However, the plugging screws seem to be short and weak. Suggest to make them with a strong material or with a metal screw."

"The instructions were pretty straight foreward but it took me two tries with removing and reinstallation of the grill to get things to line up correctly. Once installed it fits nicely and looks good on the truck."
