"I shopped around and found a cheaper sale on Amazon, so I called and got the same price plus $1.00 off (paid $41.12) Installation was so easy...all I needed was a Phillip's screw driver. Using the pre-drilled holes both on the hood and the bugflector (lined up perfectly), I screwed it in place in 3-5 minutes (cleaning the hood, preparation, and installation). Looks good on the truck. The only issue I have is why they use 4 small bump protectors between the hood and the bugflector that has no use. I plan to buy and use taller ones. This is not required and does not affect the function or looks....I don't even know the real use of those little bump feets. Else, enjoy it, I am."

"Ordering the AVS Bugflector II for my 2009 Honda CR-V was very simple and the staff at AutoAnything is courteous and professional. I was also able to pay via Paypal which is a big plus. The order arrived very fast and AutoAnything provided me with tracking and shipping information. The AVS Buglfector II was easy to install and the quality and fit are great. This unit does not use double sided tape...it actually uses existing holes under the hood that were put there from the factory. I purchased the clear model because I didn't want to lose the factory lines of the hood. It's almost invisible but I know it's there protecting the hood and windshield. What more can you ask for? Great, great, great!!!"

"This is a great product, no drilling needed for my 09 Equinox. After some quick inspection, peeled of the 3M tape covers, centered the deflector from marks on the hood underside and a center mark on the shield, slid the shield as forward as it could go underneath and pressed up. No measuring needed. Took all of 5 minutes to install. Looks great and seems to keep the windshield cleaner. Highly recommend this product."

"I TOLD MY WIFE WE NEED THE BUG DEFLECTOR WHEN WE BOUGHT IT NEW IN OCTOBER 08. WITH THE SALT BEING SPREAD ON THE ROADS IT CHIPS PAINT WORST BECAUSE OF ITS SHARP EDGES.WELL AS THE WEATHER BROKE HER NEW CAR LOOKS LIKE IT HAS A BAD CASE OF ACNE.TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN BUY ONE IF NOT IT WILL LOOK LIKE MY NEW CAR ACNE FACE."

"I like the bug deflector very much. You real can't go wrong with this product or price. It was somewhat easy to install and look great. Only problem I in-counted was a 2009 jeep compass was not on the list of vehicles that it fit, but 2009 body shape is the same as 2007 and 2008. It fit like a glove."

"This is my 2nd Bugflector II order for F250 truck, as the original unit was damaged/broken. "I recently purchased an AVS Bug Deflector for my new 2009 Dodge Journey. I received it in a timely fashion and installed it immediately. It looks great and the quality is quite good. The installation was a little tricky and the fit was slightly tight. With the primary attachement being tape you need to be very sure of placement, as there is no turning back. Overall, however, I'm quite satisfied."

"I didn't purchase this deflector for looks...I anted one that would deflect bugs from the windshield. I have found this deflector to be very effective, and it looks good too. I wish it was just a bit stiffer as it deforms a bit under high speed, but I plan on adding a bumper to fix this."

"Installation was not as easy as other AVS shields I have purchased. Contour of the plastic conforming to the hood shape was slightly wrong. To compensate, the shield had to be slightly bowed and held by a second individual while the screws were inserted. End product looks and works great, however. Would definitely purchase it again!"

"The Bugflector II installed easily, and looks good. The front portion of the hood had been taking too many stone hits prior to this installation, so I expect the Bugflector will help to reduce future paint damage in this area."
