After installation on my 2013 Silverado I noticed that the deflector caused a wind noise that sounded like sleet hitting my windshield. After contacting AVS they dropped the ball. I then contacted Auto Anything who immediately sent out a replacement. This one also caused a noise like sleet hitting the windshield. The only thing I can figure is that the design is very poor. Would not recommend an AVS for installation on a 2013 Silverado

This was super easy to install on my '04 Tacoma. Just a couple of tips: it is easier to install with the rubber lip removed on the edge of the hood. Also, the little AVS emblem will likely come off while you are driving, so either remove it ahead of time if you don't want it or tack it on with some superglue. Love the bug deflector!

I read about other users having trouble with the plastic push-pins, and sure enough, I broke one. But when it broke off the remaining portion was in pretty tight so I left it alone. But AVS sent me a replacement set of push-pins and I plan to replace the broken one.
