I ordered the wrong vents so re-ordered the ones I needed. Upon returning them (aside from the phone wait) Kimberly was amazingly efficent and the ease of returning them was a breath of fresh air. I will gladly purchase more items from Auto Anything.

3 or the 4 deflectors went on straight and perfectly. The 4th is neither and I could not get a second chance. It doesn't look stupid but it is at least 1/4 too high. It would also be good if the visors a little wider. I had expected to be able to crack the windows a bit more with them installed without it being visible to the casual eye. Texas gets really hot.

Hi, The trick is to use a hairdryer held far enough away to warm the adhesive under the plastic without hurting the paint. Start far off on one corner and gradually warm, then peel.

Answered by Nathan S. — Mar 18, 2013 5:33 PM
Hi, Essientially, there is only "1 submodel available" which is the "Sedan". In this case, the sedan choice will be the only select-able option if you want to add the product to a shopping cart.

I WANT THE ONES THAT JUST STICK ON WITH THE TAPE AND DO NOT GO IN THE CHANNEL. I TRIED WEATHERTECH'S AND THEY INTERFERE WITH THE WINDOW GOING UP ON MY 96 YUKON. THANKS, STEVE

My research has indicated the channel mounted window visors have an issue with the power windows sensor on the 2012 Ford F-150, that is windows rolling up and hitting the channel mounted visor and window attempts to roll back down. Seems the next option is the 3m tape mounted window visors. My question is how do these hold up using automatic car washes - that is with the brushes swirling down the sides of the truck ? I know the car wash place I've used has enough tension in the brushes to flip the side mirrors forward if left in normal position. Any feedback is appreciated.

AVS makes a "Seamless" set of vent visors for the 2011 and older Honda CR-V models. Do they make this for the 2012 model CR-V yet?
Answered by Anonymous — Dec 01, 2012 5:40 PM
I don't know what "seamless" means, but I did just receive the vent visors I ordered for my 2013 CR-V and can tell you this: These are the kind that tape to the exterior trim above the doors. They do not fit into the window channel as others I have ordered did. This is a disappointment. It detracts significantly from the look of the car: The deflectors attach to the chrome trim above the door in such a way that part of the chrome is covered and part (above the pillars between the front and rear doors and around the rear side window) is not. This looks bad; a kind of cheap aftermarket look. The online information did not give a hint about this.

I was browsing through your website in search of rain guards for my 2007 impala. Currently I have the front set installed on my car and all I need is the two backs. I was wondering if it was possible to order the two back door rain guards separately instead of having to order the whole set front and back doors.
Answered by Elizabeth C. — Aug 03, 2012 1:46 PM
Hello. Most manufacturers only offer full sets for your vehicle. Unfortunately we do not offer just the rear ventvisors. We do carry the AVS Ventvisors for a price that is very close to what you will pay for just the rear set. Thank you for your question.

Answered by Nathan S. — Jul 30, 2012 1:27 PM
Hi Louann, The AVS vent visors come in a very dark smoke color, so they look black when you see them from the outside of the car, but are transparent to a degree. Think of a limo tint.

2012 Hyundai Sonata

Do you have a Rear window deflector to keep the rain from staying on the rear window so that it will be easier to see cars behind when there is rain falling. In the Hyundai Sonata the rain droplets are not removed by the wind when driving. A rain deflector was made for the Santa Fe that forced the air to flow downward the rear door and kept the window clear. For the Hyundai Sonata there are rain deflectors for the side windows only. Can a rain deflector like that be available for the Hyundai Sonata back Window? thank You
