Description

Remember when vehicles were equipped with those ugly wing windows that folded out for better ventilation and noise deflection? Sure, they were handy back then, but times have changed. Today, Weathertech’s Side Window Deflectors are the solution to a stuffy cockpit. These low-profile deflectors let you open your windows without the ear-splitting wind noise. Plus, you can keep your windows partially open on those rainy days without your vehicle getting completely drenched.

Precision crafted from high-impact acrylic, your Side Window Deflectors can withstand blows from airborne road rubble, kamikaze bugs, and other roadway hazards. And, they are specially treated to resist blistering UV rays and scratching.

Completely custom made for a seamless fit, your Side Window Deflectors easily install in your window channel using a micro-thin mounting flange—no drilling! Choose from a Light Smoke or Dark Smoke finish. Includes 1-year warranty.

Design flaws

"The installation was pretty straight forward and simple. The problem that I had appeared on the front passenger window. The window would reverse and lower when it encountered the resistance offered by the flange in the deflector that occupies tha same space as the glass at full up. If I stopped short of all the way up and then finished raising the window it would get stuck and had to manually assist by using pressure form both sides to force the window down. I had to remove that deflector. The window glass appears to be closer to the outside edge of the track on that window. I broke the flange when I removed that deflector and now I'm trying to think of what I can do. I like the way it looks on the left side of the car."

"Very nice equipment and much easier to install than I expected. A little pricey for 2 pieces of plastic but other than that a great value. Now I can leave the windows open a little in a rain storm and get some fresh air. I highly recommend autoanything and will buy from them again."

"Excellent product; strong construction, installs literally in minutes without tools and most importantly fits tight and secure with no interference to window operations. As a product I recommend it completely. The only concern was that at $69 for just 2 front pieces it's a bit pricey."

"I purchased side window deflectors for both the front and back windows. I installed the deflectors in less than 10 minutes with no problems whatever. The very next day it started to rain ( in Seattle of course) and the window deflectors worked perfectly. I could partially open any window and not have water running into my new automobile. The deflectors also improved the appearance of the auto, in my opinion. I am perfectly satisfied with the deflectors and have allso ordered a set for my girl friends auto."

Difficult to install on front windows

"The rear deflectors for my '07 Hyundai Azera were fairly simple to install. They came with double-sided tape which does a good job at keeping them in place. However, the deflectors for the front windows cannot use tape due to the way they have to be installed. They are VERY difficult to install. I broke two of them trying to get them installed on the driver's side window. WeatherTech has replaced them both times, but I'm still very careful everytime I roll up my front windows. Since there's not tape to hold them in place, you have to leave your windows in the up position for two or three days in the hope that the deflectors will "learn" where they're supposed to be."

"Wish Ventshade made a model for the Prius, I'd have rather bought American. The sticky tape on the rear visors was of inferior Quality, I replaced it with Quality 3M stuff. You have to have these for the summer in Houston, TX. Open your window 1 inch and car is 120 degrees when you return rather than 160 degrees on the inside."
