4 windows would have been nicer
Posted on 04/21/2006 by Melissa R. - 1998 Mercury Sable (Round Lake Heights,IL)

"I bought these thinking it was a full set of 4. I got them and only the front two were in the box. I called and they informed me that this brand only makes the front two. I would have liked all 4. In channel is much better looking than the tape on. If this company would make the back two and sell them, I will buy."

"We put these on our Monte Carlo and they're wonderful. The only problem we have with them is that they are a little closer to the window than we thought, but we are still extremely satisfied with them."

"I bought 2 sets of these deflectors. One set for a 2002 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab, and a set for a 2003 Pontiac Grand Am. They are worth the money I think because they 1. don't need to be taped on (tape is provided, but I didn't use it, haven't had any problems) and 2. they look GREAT!! I have seen alot of other vehicles with the old style of taping to the door, and I don't like them. These in channel deflectors are very no profile and most importantly, they dont stick to the paint of your vehicle. Have recommended them to all my friends that have asked about them."

Singing In The Rain--2006 Jetta
Posted on 04/12/2006 by Paul A. - 2006 Volkswagen Jetta (Durham,NC)
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.
"I like these deflectors. I must admit, the directions were a bit sketchy, and didn't stress the importance of pushing the front deflector nose in between the black plastic molding and the weather stripping on the inside. This is the KEY for them securing, and not falling down. Anyway, I figured it out, and now you know too! I've got both front and back, and they have made traveling quieter, and much more enjoyable since the wind has been greatly reduced, yet I still get great circulation. After a slight learning curve, you realize just how much to open your windows for the right effect at the right speeds.
Now that I've got these little gems on correctly, I can't imagine traveling without them! Get them, you'll be singing in the rain!"

"These deflectors are very nice. I prefer the stick on kind, which I had before, on a differend auto. The problem, I'm having trouble gettting the driver's window to close all the way. I have to wiggle the deflector, to get the window to stay up. The windows are equiped with a safety device, to re oprn if anything is in their way. I'm only having this problem on the driver window."

"I've been wanting to try these for a while now, my wife dislikes direct wind on her while we drive. The window can be open about 2-3 inches and the fresh air gets in without the wind and noise of it. They are made for the vehicle unkike the 'universal' brands that fit different cars. They are low profile."

"This cool looking, practical very handy device which is fully fulfilling it is advertisement. Since I don’t like to repeat others opinion I would recommend to try it to yourself. Considering a relatively cheap price for the comfort of the deflectors I think every buyer will be happy with it. But to buy anything first you need to search and consider this is in your top of wishing list."

"In sunshine or rain, the side
window reflectors make traveling a pleasure. Reflects the hindrance of too much glare on a sunny day and
allows a bit of fresh air on a rainy day without getting wet.
This is my second car to have
them installed on, and cannot imagine owning a car without
having them. I enjoy them immensely. Thanks!"

"Being a Florida resident, it is imperative that an automobile be "vented" to reduce interior heat and protect the interior fromgetting wet, as a shower can come along, even while the sun is shineing. These deflectors were easy to install and allow proper venting AND they look good while being effective. I'm getting some for my wife's automobile also."

"Staying dry with the window open is wonderful. The product is very good, although I hear a cracking noise every time I roll up the passenger window(I don't use it much and it might still be adjusting). This product was exactly what I was looking for, thanks to the detailed description and wonderful customer reviews."

Side window deflector- thumbs up

5 of 5 people found the following review helpful.
"I purchased these for my wife's 2006 honda odysee. We loved the car with exception of 2 problems. One was the fact that rain water pours right in if the window is opened at all during the rain and the second problem was a whistling noise that came from the passanger side door at highway speed. The deflectors solved both problems beautifully.
Word of advise, follow the installation instructions carefully as they fit very tight. I would also reccommend using the butt end of a screw driver to push the deflctor of into the clip. Also try to warm the deflector by leaving in the house for an hour prior to installation as this will make it a little more flexible."

Better than Auto Manufacturer

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.
"These window side deflectors are a heavier guage than those provided by the auto manufacturer. They are about the same cost, and they mount in a more sensible and secure manner. Rather than paste-ons, these are integrated with the auto. It was surprize to note that the same manufacturers of this product is used by the dealers of my other car, an Infiniti."
