"The instructions were a bit hard to follow, and the deflector was missing a bump, but overall it fit my weirdly shaped Santa Fe hood perfectly. One downside, installation required me to use four screws to secure it onto the grill, so you can't easily snap it off for car washes or waxing. Even though the clamps keep it raised above the hood, there's very little room to get your hand in there and wax the areas that the deflector covers. Other than that it's very sturdy and tougher than the factory grills I previously bought from my dealer (which would break too easily.)"

"Pros: Price was very reasonable. Quality seems to be good. Installation was a breeze. Less than 5 minutes. Cons: I was hoping that the EGR Supergard Height was a bit taller, as I have experienced 3 stone chips to my vertical H3 windshield. So far so good, however I'm not completely sold on the idea that this Bug\Stone guard will prevent future stones from hitting my windshield. Overall, I'm happy with the quality and look of this product. Just wish it was 2"-3" taller. BN06 in Jersey"

H3 Deflector OK

"My Hummer H3 Alpha is anything but aerodynamic, but that's OK - I love it anyway. But in the summer months I just get pelted with bug splatter especially at highway speeds. The EGR Deflector actually does work. It doesn't eliminate all the bugs, but it cuts the splatter down by way more than 50%. The deflector also looks good on the vehicle. Auto Anything correctly says that their EGR H3 Deflector does fit the 2008 Hummer H3, whereas other websites incorrectly maintain that it only fits the 2006-7 H3. The GM part number for the hood on the '08 H3 is identical to the part number for the prior two years - it's exactly the same! The EGR Deflector works for all three years. If you have an '08 Hummer H3, don't hesitate to buy this deflector."

"I put this on our new Trailblazer which at 5,000 miles already had a rock chip on the hood. Couldn't have been easier to install, looks really great and limits the number of bugs on the windshield. Also, the new Trailblazers have a bit of wind noise from the front windows. This actually helped eliminate a lot of that too! Highly recommended."

"This shield sticks up a bit more than the picture shows, but because its clear it doesn't really matter. The quality is great. It goes on in 5 min, and it looks great. What more could you ask for? I would highly recommend it."

"A fair price for a good looking and functional product. The installation was fairly easy, just requiring me to remove my grill, align and put in place. The deflectors lower profile really accents the truck nicely. Happy about my choice. The real test will be coming up when I take a 2000 mile round trip."

"The installations was easy and fast. The deflector also looks great with complements from other people! The window visors that I purchased also was easy to install and they keep the sun out at the top of the window, like a small shade! Can't wait to try other products! Thank You"

"took only five minutes total for install on Chevy HHR. Looks great and is effective for keeping front and hood free of bugs, but...wish there logo was more easy to remove like a vinyl sticker. I ended up polishing it off with a plastic polish/scratch remover and car buffer. Other than that, its great."

"When the product description says easy to install they mean it. I was prepared for crazy instructions that would take me longer to figure out than the actual install. I was happily surprised! The instructions were easy to understand & I had the deflector installed in less than 5 minutes. I'm very happy with this deflector and it looks great on my truck."

"Put this on a 2005 Pathfinder. Fit was good except for mounting recesses didn't quite match the hood, but all the holes matched exactly. Instructions were very generic, but a little mechanical common sense made installation easy. Mounted myself, but a second set of hands would have helped. Shipped FedExp in big box that was totally trashed when arrived. Origionally refused, but after inspection, deflector was fine."

"I got this deflector for the functionality, but once I put it on, I realized that it looks really good as well. I live in CO and we get a lot of dings in the windshields here. I wanted something to at least help. Nothing will stop all the rocks and bugs, but this one fits great, looks great, and does its job. Enjoy."

"I ordered this part to cover up a small dent on the hood. I was i search of a clear guard that could be painted. After being dissappointed wht those products, I purchased this one. I think it actually compliments the look of the truck now. Deflection also appears to be effective."
