Don't be fooled by the picture

"All the photos show a nice sleek design,which was one of the main selling points for me, but don't show the four obvious protruding plastic clips that go across the front of the deflector to hold it in place (hmmm, false advertising?). It was easy to install and works well so far, but the clip design was a surprise to me."

"Very easy to install on my 2007 Toyota Tundra CrewMax. It was made to fit and looks very sharp. It took me like 15 or 20 minutes to install. Just had to unscrew a few bolts and put it on, thats it!!!"

"I actually worked on this thing for almost 2 hours before I gave up. I had to take it to a shop and have them do it. they said they had to use wood screws to get it to stay on my Tacoma. It looks great but they need to fix this instalation problem."

"This Deflector is very attractive and cut down on about 70 % of the bug mess on our windows. It is probably a good compromise as the gas milage only fell of slightly .... it may deserve four and half stars, but is not perfect."

"Once UPS finally decided after a fight to deliver the shredded package a day late I installed it - there was only a very small scuff - with little problem once I deciphered the instructions which, since the deflector was made in Austrailia, must have been translated directly from an Outback tribe. It fits nicely, goes well with my black truck and seems to deflect most of the bugs over the top"

"The deflector is fine but the outside edges are held on with stick on bolts that came off. My previous EGR did not have this problem but this deflector pulled the old bolts off and then pulled off the new ones."

Unresolved Issue to Date

"Liked the deflector overall but would recommend the shortest one as the one in middle looked large. Front had wavy places so I called EGR direct. Sent pictures and they are reviewing and will send a replacemet if deemed a defect. So customer service is good. The plastic retainers are best screwed in and out as a trial run before installing in hood. Screws are slightly big and this will wallow out the plastic and make installation a bit easier. Would rate EGR a 5 star but have yet to finish resloving this issue."
