"The deflector was very easy to install and took about 10 minutes. I got the mid-level size, and thought it would stand a bit taller, but it is ok. Looks good."

"I purchased the EGR Superguard model for its reported no drill installation and slightly larger profile. I cannot say enough about this product. Super, super easy to install. Only tool needed was a screwdriver. Total install time was about 5 minutes. Guard can easily be removed if needed."

"Did a lot of research before ordering my bug deflector from Auto Anything. They had a great price and very fast delivery. It took all of 5 minutes to mount it on my 08 Silverado. It compliments the ERG vent visors & window deflectors I also ordered from them. They all look great and it should do a great job of keeping bugs and road debris off my hood and windshield. I'm very well pleased with my purchase."

"I have never used an EGR product before. The bug deflector was very easy to install on my 2008 Chevy Silverado pickup. The instructions that came with the deflector were easy to understand. Took me 15 minutes to put deflector on. Auto anything was great to work with. Deflector arrived 2 days early.It is winter now wear I live so I can not give you my impression of how this will work deflecting bugs. I got it mainly for the protection from stone chips on the front of my pickup. I drive on mostly stone and tar covered roads and dirt roads."

"I love my EGR bug deflector. It went on with such ease and with the tinted version and the color of my truck you can't even tell it is there. I haven't driven a lot since I put it on, but I am going to assume it will work great!"

"I've purchased bug deflectors for almost every vehicle I've owned (i.e. Jeep Wranglers (4), Tahoe (1), GMC Jimmy (1), Trailblazer (1), GMC Truck (1)). They have been purchased through various sources on the internet and one in-store purchase. This is the third ERG deflector installed on my vehicles. The fit for my 2008 Silverado is very good and the installation was the easiest I've encountered. I didn't have to drill any holes or depend on 2-sided tape to hold it to the vehicle. When I ordered the EGR, I did think I was ordering a smoke colored v/s the clear, but probably my lack of attention when talking with the Autoanything sales person. I also wish the EGR would have been about 3/4 inch taller to deflect debris away and upward from the hood more."

"Super product! If I had to come up with one thing negative it would be that the "anti-scratch" pads may not do their job, as tight as the clips are, but I doubt that I will ever have to remove them and find out. This will be the protector I will buy if I get another truck."

"This deflector shipped quickly and took about 10-15 minutes to install. The small screw sinks took a little bit of effort to get set in the holes and stay still while tightening the screw. Hopefully it'll keep my hood from getting chipped any more- Thanks!!"

"The deflector was easy to install on my Toyota Tundra truck. I did,however, have a problem with the wrap around ends of the deflector. They were to close and touched the finished on my fenders. I had to bend the clips which helped slightly. I will have to watch and see if my paint on the fenders gets damaged."

"I have only had the deflector on for a week, but have noticed a decrease in the aount of bugs hitting the windshield. It looks great too. I have the smoke color and my truck is sillver, so it looks very rich."

"This is a great deflector and best of all it's not made in china like everything seems to be these days. I like it better than the ones that install with tape, they have a nasty habit of falling off eventually. It takes a little longer to install but it's worth it. Took me about 45 minutes to install."

"The quality is excellent, installation was fairly easy. I had a little trouble with the insert that the screws attach to and i had a factory installed rubber insert that had to be removed from the underneath leading edge of the hood in order for the screws and inserts to work. The only other thing I've noticed after installation is a whistling from the front end at higher speeds."

"Installation was a pain. Four of the six mounting tabs were ok. The other two: One interfered with the hood latch, the other with the hood spring. They had to be cut off. New holes were drilled and sheetmetal screws used. Otherwise, it looks and works fine."
