"The deflector has a thick chrome coating over plastic that makes it look just like chrome! The installation was a bit tricky and requires two people: one to hold it up in place and the other to place the molly bolt plastic plugs into the hood's holes. The plugs have a small inner pin that tends to drop out very easily and we lost one during the installation and used a christmas plug from our Jeep to complete the deflector installation."

"this is my first order made with auto anything and im very satisfied that ive already placed a second one!! the overall quality of the chrome deflector makes my truck look very different than what it was before, it looks really awesome.the installation steps were very easy to follow.i had it on in minutes with no problems at all. i will definately keep upgrading my vechiles with auto anything!"

"When I ordered the deflector I wasn't sure that I really wanted chrome on my Envoy. Now that I got it, it was the way to go. It matches my grill and trim work on the front perfectly. I few weeks ago I had installed a Black & chrome locking fuel door, and black wheels, so I was a little concerned about the chrome on front being to busy. It's not, it looks great. The AVS product was flawless in fit and appearance. It installed in 10 minuets and that's only because I dropped a screw and had to look for it. All you ned is a screwdriver. I rated this chrome bug deflector excellent for all but price, but then I think everything for related to autos no matter who you get it from is expensive. The other day my wife drove up to the house while I was mowing the lawn. I looked at that deflector and thought to myself it really WAS worth the money. It looks awesome! Thank you AVS for a great product and thanks AutoAnything for carrying it for us. Page Lewisville, Texas"

"The bug deflector goes really well with chrome steel front end of my Ford Excursion. The traditional smoke color would not have looked nearly as sharp. The installation was more difficult than I would have imagined...but in a good way. Best put on with 2 people. The requirement to strech the deflector out to install it made for a good fit. The deflector attached into holes that were already present within the hood (with screws and washers.) Definitely would purchase this product again!"

"This product really delivered. I put it on my '07 Tahoe and it really adds a touch of class. Looks great. One small complaint: one of the small rubber "stoppers" to install it broke during installation but it's holding on well with the other 3."

"First of all the representative for Auto Anything was very helpful and courteous. AVS Chrome Bug Deflector was simple to install, you will need an extra hand though to put it on.
