Really like the item and the look. The plastic hardware was miserable. It would have taken less than 5 minutes but the plastic screw made it like 20 minutes. I had to use alternate hardware. A push plunger plastic expansion clip from Napa.

Easy to install with the exception of the plastic push pin fasteners supplied in the kit. They were too short to secure the deflector to the existing factory sheet metal holes. Fortunately I was able to find a couple of longer pushpins from the auto parts store. I did end up using the optional screws from the kit to secure the outboard flanges of the deflector to the underside of the hood.

Everything was great, looks are amazing. The only problem I had was their was no center-point to go off of, so I had to breakout the measuring tape to make sure it was as close to center as possible.

The bug deflector that was pictured in the ad is not the one that showed up at my door. It will work but not the one I ordered. Install was easy using the pre- drilled holes in the hood. When I shut the hood it would not latch. Shut the hood a second time with more force and still it would not latch. Really slammed the hood the next time and it did latch. Looks good on my truck but wish I could have received the one I ordered. I didn't want to go through the hassle of returning it.

Installation was easy. I am getting some noise from the bug deflector at higher speeds and haven't been able to figure out why. I re-tightened the screws but that didn't do it. I took it off and reinstalled it and still have the same problem.
