Installed easily on my 2005 Toy 4Runner Limited, price was reasonable, and arrived as promised. Bug shield does not vibrate/shake and acutally looks very nice as far as appearance.

Fit and install are easy, but doesn't keep the bugs off the windshield. Shame on me I guess. I even reread the desciption to make sure. So apparently a bug shield and a bug deflector are NOT the same thing. Not sure why I would want to keep bugs off my hood and not my windshield, but that is what it does. Waste of $65.

When installing you, must remove the grill bolts and break 2 plastic assembly rivets in the top corners of the grill. They are used for assembly line only and serve no purpose to the owner. They do take some force to snap. Pull one side away from the hood until it snaps, then the other. Takes longer to get the nerve to break these than it does to re-assemble. Looks good. Quiet, no wind noise. Nice snug fit. Would buy again.

I have purchased Wade products in the past and have always found them to be top quality. The bug shield was an easy installation and it looks great installed, plus it saved money over dealer costs.I would highly recommend.

When installing the Platinum Bug Deflector, do you have to attach bumpstops or anything else to the actual hood of the vehicle, besides the attachment hardware under the hood?

Hi, They install pretty cleanly and the attachment methods will vary depending on the vehicle. The installation instructions included describe exactly how to install them on your truck.

Will this fit the Raptor?

Hi, I believe the Raptor still counts as an F-150. The Wade Platinum Bug Shield by Westin should fit just fine.
