The road's littered with a range of obstacles in your path. And, driving through a kamikaze swarm of bugs often tops that list. Prevent those goo-packing pests from splattering across your front end with the Stampede Vigilante Low Profile LP Series Hood Protector.

It fit right into the hood of my truck without problem. Took me about 20 min. to install because I have to drill holes under the hood with the screws provided for a secure fit. Overall, I'm satisfied with the way it enhance the look of my truck.

Fit well, looks fine, had to drill two holes, others lined up with holes already in hood and deflector. Watch outer corners when mounting that they dont drift out from hood before you pre drill. Item was well packaged and arrived undamaged and with all hardware.

This hood protector was very easy to install. It took less than 10 min with a screw driver being the only necessary tool. It actually installs to holes that are already under the hood; no mod needed. I am very pleased with the quality and the look of the item as well.

Hello! I want to buy the low pro hood protector for a 2000 ford ranger, but at checkout it asks for select submodel or with metal hood? Just wondering what this means? So I can know which one to pick. Thanks!

Hello. There is only one option, and that is "with metal hood". "select submodel" shows up whenever you have not selected yet. With only the one option available, I hope this clears up the question. Have a good day!
