The reflector was very easy to install . I did run it through a auto cars wash expeting it to be rip off , it did not . It looks great and performed well .

This deflector was easy to install, just let the tape warm up in the sun and stick it in place after cleaning area with alcohol.

How far does the deflector sit from the roof of vechicle? One inch, 1 1/2 inch?

Hi, Measure your sunroof and add 1" to each end of the measurement.

will a 36.5" unit it fit a 2012 chevy silerado factory sunroof? I need 36" inside opening. where is the 36.5" measurement from inside opening or exterior outside measuremnet? Thanks for your help

Outside exterior measurements. My 2010 Ford Taurus uses a 36.5" for example. This gives the sun roof about 1" space on either side.
