The item itself is OK, installation was not. The instructions didn't say anything removing the plastic rivets holding the rubber molding-removal required pliers & flathead screwdriver. The supplied plastic screws did not work well. I bought some #8 bolts, as suggested by other reviews, and these worked better. After some trial and error I found that it worked best to remove the screw from the clip and insert the clip separately to align the 3 holes, then put in the screw.

I was impressed with the bug shield i received, i was a little concerned with the picture on the internet but in person it looks much better, easy to install and quality is as good as any other i have put on previously

Easy install just scratches very easily. Would have given 5 stars if not. If you wipe them with any type of car cloth they scatch.

overall, I'm happy with my purchase. This was 1/2 the price of other products and I think it looks good. My only complaint was with the mounting "hardware" - the screws and anchors provided are both plastic. I was unable to get the plastic screws to actually exert enough force into the anchors to secure them, but metal screws worked fine. Hopefully this doesn't cause any problems down the road, time will tell.

Very easy to install with pryer and screwdriver. Will need stainless steel screws vs the plastic ones provided. Took 10-15 minutes to install. Looks sharp. And with the price value it is highly recommended.

Toss the plastic screws in the "Molly" type fasteners provided and replace with 4 SS #8 3/4" flat head screws.... Makes installation a breeze. Nicely made, perfect fit... Looks great.

Looks great!1 It was for my Honda Ridgeline. It was difficult inserting plastic clips/screws into unplugged holes on hood.AVS logo on guard flew off after 10 min. on road. I'm sure it will do the job. Thanks, Rob
