I'm very happy with the bug deflector I just installed. The install instructions could be a little more clear. It looks good.

The deflector fit well, however the plastic mounts were a little small. I fabricated my own.

the deflector was great in appeareance, instructions were great except the mounting screws were too small. i had to install blue raw plugs into the factory holes to acheve a hold for the shield and the gasket. i also used different screws which i cut to length as not to protrude too far into the hood or dent the hood. the install went easy after i figured out what was going on. all in all if they were to address the problem ease of installation would of been simple. and the quality 5 star.

arrived on time. nice tight fit. easy to follow instructions. the plastic heads on 2 of the 4 hood seal replacement parts twisted off. the deflector was secure with the remaining parts.

The fasteners were so small that I felt like I couldn't get a secure fit on the hood. I took it to a friend who works for a body and fender shop. The first thing he did was discard the fasteners and replace them with that fit the holes. Once on the the deflector looks great.

The fasteners are to small for the holes of the 2017f150 you have to find fasteners that fit or screws.

I had some trouble with the install. I found the inserts and screws to be inadequate, screws too short and inserts too small. Difficult install nice appearance.

installation parts not correct for the vehicle, 4 small push in center pins were too small for the vehicle factory hood holes (2017 Ford F150). Had to retro-fit using plastic push-in rivets that I had from a previous project. This is a problem others had from reading their posts

Plastic installation hardware was worthless. Go to the hardware store and buy 3/4" machine screws.

I bought the mid height deflector. Wishing I had another set of hands to install. Looks very nice and seems to be good quality. Due to height of the hood on my truck, probably should have chosen the high profile model. This model was actually recommended by a high volume vehicle accessory dealer.

This is a good value for the money. It took me a little longer to install than I thought although I did move slowly with it. Overall very happy with the result - would recommend the product - fits well and looks good.

The whole reason I got this bug/wind deflector was because of the design flaw in the new Ford hoods. If it's raining and you slow down enough to allow the rain to run down your hood it blows back up onto your windshield. Not with my new AVS Bug deflector! Thanks!

Order, price, delivery, fit, install all good. Not really important to me but AVS logo sticker came off first trip through car wash. Does make me wonder about automatic car wash durability over time.

Great product,only coplaint is the plastic screws sent with it.these are totally useless. Had to come up with different fasteners. Not sure how well they will work. Any suggestions?
