Kind of disappointed

I've used external mount visors on my cars. These visors were pretty easy to install. I left the windows up way past the 72 hours recommended. However, when I lowered the back windows, they wouldn't close properly. I had to trim them (not easy!). For this model car, I wouldn't recommend these.

I installed the AVS in-channel ventvisors on my C-Max Energi. However, once I tried to put the windows up the corner of the window facing the rear of the car constantly hit the ventvisor which caused the window to go back down. This was the case for all 4 windows. I did manage eventually get the windows up but only while I pulled on the ventvisor from outside the car. I let these set for 48+ hours but as soon as I attempted to roll down the windows and roll them back up it had the same issue

Very poor fit for Cmax.

In all window positions these deflectors do not allow windows to close correctly. Very thin acrylic material that scoffs very easily. After one week still can't close windows without help. My next car will get Weathertech and not AVS.

I've had external(stick-on) vent visors on two of my cars for several years. These are a bit easier to install, look better and provide the same "always have the windows open an inch" ventilation I have been enjoying.

In the past I've only had the outer taping visors to install and the adhesive never lasts too long and then you have to find a way to keep them glued in place. The installation on the AVS In-channel Ventvisor was simple and straight forward. After installation, remember to keep your windows closed for the recommended 72 hours. The visors look so much better than the outer mounting types and are very strong, yet flexible for installation. Now I can have my windows open and no rain will come in.

actually need more time to truly evaluate
