WeatherTech In-Channel Side Window Deflectors Part #80398 Customer Reviews

I installed these on my wife's car and when the window goes up it contacts the vent visor and causes the window to retract. The only way to overcome this on her car is to stop the window before it reaches the vent visor and slowly close the window from there. I had this same issue when i first installed these on my truck many years ago, and after a month or so the issue went away and the window closed all the way all the time.

I have other Window deflectors on 2 other vehicles. I bought a new Jetta Diesel wagon and wanted deflectors for the front windows . Auto Zone and other auto parts companies said they had to be ordered. My son got on line and found these and ordered them. They arrived when company siad they would and it took my son about an hour to install them. I have used them since and they work great-no water when raining and windows slightly ajar. Would buy from this company again.

install was very easy. left window up for over 24 hrs. i used the window 5 or 6 time 2 days later and every time i tried to put the window up i had to push out the rear corner. a day or 2 later i was going down the road with the window 1/4 of the way down and the rear corner and top part fell out. i was able to pull over and put it on the back seat. i hope to call next week to see what i should do to keep it in.

This item is not engineered properly, as it does not fit the way it should. I have purchased these items in the past for my last 5 vehicles, and all except this one fit and work the way they should. I installed this item according to the instructions provided, even allowing 24 hours for it to fully seat itself, and now when I open and close the windows, the windows retract automatically, forcing me to feather the window switch very gently, to fully close the windows. I am not happy with them.

I have had several WeatherTech window deflectors and have never had a proplem with installation or quality BUT the one I purchased for my 2010 Jetta will not seat. I left the windows up fo nearly 20 hours after I installed the product and the drivers side did not seat. The deflector continues to slide into the window glass path. Now the passenger side deflector is sliding down from time to time. The AutoAnything customer service has been out standing. Unfortunately they don't manufacture the product.

love this product this is the second car i put them on. I've told me freinds about them and the love them. MUCH better then the kind that glue to the outside of the door. I recommend this product to anyone. My only complaint is they are alittle pricey.
