WeatherTech In-Channel Side Window Deflectors Part #72147 Customer Reviews
Reviewed by K. S (Bronx, NY) Reviewed for a 1996 Kia Sephia — Nov 15, 2007 9:58 AM
I was able to find wind deflectors for an old car on AutoAnything.com and they work FANTASTIC!! I had a tremendous amount of wind noise when doing hwy speed that is virtually gone now! I actually enjoy driving on the hwy again and sometimes turn off my radio to listen to the silence. What a pleasure!! The WeatherTech Side Window Deflectors look good on my car too. The only problem was the install of the back windows. The edge of the deflector that goes into the track of the rear windows was brittle and cracked when I closed the rear windows. Yes, both rear deflectors cracked when the windows were closed. The funtioning of the front ones more than make up for this shortfall. I will add that I was concerned at first during my quest for deflectors because the stores I went to said they didn't have, or could not order, accessories for such an old car. Moreover, I put off long trips and considered renting, or getting a new car, because the noise was so bad. This should illustrate how bad the noise was and how it was driving me crazy. My thanks to AutoAnything and WeatherTech for providing a great product!!!!!!!
