Although very good looking, the actual workability of these deflectors leaves much to be desired. After install, there is a noticeable drop in wind penetration to the ears when the side front windows are open. But it is not nearly enough to allow for open windows at highway speeds. If the outside temp is below 50 degrees F, and you're at speed, there is no noticeable reduction in comfort with windows wide open and the WeatherTech units in place. Ray

I've had side window deflectors on all of the last 3 Volvo wagons I've owned and I must say that the WeatherTech deflectors are by far the best....even better than Volvo's own, when and if they make them available for any given model. I will admit that I was hesitant about ordering the WeatherTech deflectors when I saw how they installed, but decided to take a chance anyway. In the end if you take the time to read their well written install instructions, and don't rush the install, the installation goes easy and smooth. And I'll say very honestly that the deflectors look AND work fabulously, and really do look like they're a part of the car and not just an add-on. I would not hesitate to recommend these side window deflectors to anyone! Regards, Bill

I've used these on four other vehicles - they are great for providing comfort in our hot climate - I can lower the windows slightly to prevent heat build-up but rain can't enter car.

Manufactured quality good, even to ground edges and inserted areas. Good instructions, fit well, and light smoke not too conspicuous with tinted glass. Work well, too.

I purchased both the front and back sets of deflectors. The enclosed instructions were easy to understand and follow and installation was somewhat easy per the instructions. The rear set when in without and problems. On the front set, the only problem I found was there was some extra material on the front portion of the deflector that inserts by the mirror corner of the window. I had to grind off using a Dremel type tool with a grinder attachment to fit the corner in properly. They look and work great and add a bit of a classy, clean look to my car.
