Installation was straightforward in our 2007 Rav4. At one point I had to pull the deflector back out a bit since the rubber liner had been folded in one area. Upon installation, the auto safety reverse caused the window to re-open when it got up to the deflector. I was concerned that the auto safety reverse would continue to be a problem, but I followed the directions (leave the window shut for at least 12 hours). As a result, the window rubber liner "took a set" and the auto safety reverse has not been a problem. The deflectors definitely cut down the wind noise with the windows open.

the deflectors were easy to install and work great in three of my four windows. The drivers window is a safety window, and it will not stay up with the deflector in place.
