The only basic problem with this product was that an easy installation process was slow and troublesome. A specail curved pair of pliers had to be used to secure the product to the hood. Most people will have to buy a $10 tool to do this.

I'm very satisified with the apperance and looks really sharp on my Avalanche. Only problen is the mounting plugs - they're round into square holes under the hood I had to use screwdriver to hold the mounts while screwing the screws in. Overall the product is awesome!

This was a very good fit but was a little difficult to hold in place and tighten the screws at the same time. After getting the outside screws started I started the inside two screws. It was difficult to keep the deflector tight against the hood and in the retainer slots at the same time. I finally sprayed a little WD 40 in the screws to get them started and this worked for me.

Looks Good!!

I just purchase a EGR Deflector for my 07 Avalanche. It's a little pricey but looks great with my grille kit.

IVE HAD MANY DEFLECTORS OVER THE YEARS THAT MOUNT USING DIFFRENT PLUGS,TAPE, AND ANCHORS THAT SECURE THE SHIELD TO THE HOOD...I WOULD HAVE TO SAY THE 4 PLASTIC PLUGS WITH THIS DEFLECTOR ARE THE WORST...THEY DO NOT FIT FIRMLY AND SPIN REGARDLESS OF THE PRESURE TO HOLD THEM IN PLACE WHILE PUTTING IN THS SREWS.AND APPEAR TO BE CHEAP..THE SHIELD ITSELF LOOKS GREAT!JUST HOPE THE PLUGS HOLD UP TO THE WEAR AND TEAR....

Not Bad

The clips did not stay in place when installing but once i was able to have them stop spinning it tightened up. When installed it fits great and looks awesome. Love the fact i did not have to drill.

The chrome EGR bug deflector is a excellent addition to my 2007 Tahoe. The installation was easy except the part about lining the fasteners up in the slots so they wouldn't spin. The notch onthe fastner isn't long enough to reach the slot to keep it from spinning. Overall outstanding product.
