EGR In-Channel Window Visors Part #574841 Customer Reviews
Reviewed by David F (Seattle, WA) Reviewed for a 2004 Nissan Xterra — Apr 02, 2014 10:26 AM
Waited too long to get these. I can leave the windows cracked for my dog and not have the weather get in the car. Should have done it sooner. I think these look so much better than the stick on ones. I'm still getting used to the change in visibility though [the only reason I knocked a star off]. Of course you can see through them they are just darker. I am confident though that I'll get used to them and it will not be an issue.

Fast shipping, quick and easy installation. No sticky tape required and the in-channel guards fit snug into track. What a blessing to drive around with some fresh air coming through my windows without getting soaked. Best Oregon investment for a car. Thanks!

I BOUGHT 2 SETS...ONE FOR MY NISSAN XTERRA... THOSE INSTALLED WITH EASE!!! TOOK LESS THAN 10 MINUTES... I ALSO BOUGHT A SET FOR A 1996 CHEVY SILVERADO... THEY WE NOT CUT TO FIT THE TRUCK... DID NOT FIT... SO BEWARE OF PURCHASING FOR OLDER MODEL VEHICLES... BUT THE XTERRA LOOKS GREAT!!!

The In-Channel visors arrived quickly and with understandable instructions. The problem started with the driver's side visor which snapped during installation. The tolerance for the fit may have been simply too tight. Also, the XTerra's channel is relatively narrow compared to Pick-Ups and other SUVs. The other visors went in w/o problem. However, when trying to raise the windows, it became apparent that there simply was not enough space for both the window and the visor in the channels. Only one other window would close completely. I attempted closing all the windows numerous times thinking that the visors would eventually seat, but they did not. I finally removed all of them, and ordered external visors from Nissan. That was $82.00 I put in the trash can 2 hrs later. Lesson learned!
