I found the AVS bug deflector to be easy to install.I used the screws plus the tape.I haven't been on a long road trip since i installed it so can't say how good it works yet.I think over priced since it is just plastic. It is very shiny and does look like metal.

Got this deflector to replace a factory smoke one on my Nissan Titan. The old one was held on by clips, which left marks in the paint the AVS will not completely cover since its smaller. The AVS mounts by fitting under the hood edge and using doublesided tape and screws. Once secured it was alot more rigid and didnt flex like the old style. Once mounted I noticed a trough is created where water can lay in the AVS deflector, I would have drilled 2 small holes if I had realized this but once installed its too late unless you want to rip it off and ruin the tape. Other than that it fit well with only a slight contact with the grille, looks really nice and is rigid. It does project outwards from the hood around 2 inches, but still blends in with the grille. Just be aware it holds water and doesnt cover as much hood area as the Bugflector style. Overall a nice compromise in appearance and hood protection.

I ordered my chrome bug deflecter for my nissan titan and recieved it in about 4days.The install took about 20 minutes and was great to see the detail of the chrome guard match the chrome front detail.I am very pleased of the speedy service and the short time of installing on my truck.I will order chrome window guards for the front and back doors soon. Thanks again Auto Everything for a great product.

Excellent looking deflector. Installed initially using just the adhesive strip, but the under-hood design prevented full contact. So I just zipped the screws into the pre-drilled holes to be safe. Does a great job. Just returned from 800-mile trip and no bugs at all on the hood surface and minimal on the windshield.

I received the deflector promptly after ordering online. Installed it on the vehicle, but it didn't fit well. It was unevenly spaced. Pressed tight against the center of hood with 1/2" space on edges. I called autoanything customer service and emailed a pic of the I'll-fitting deflector. They sent a replacement about a week later. Installed the replacement and that fit perfectly and looks great. I have had the same exact deflector on another vehicle for the past 6 years and it still looks almost brand new! The chrome has withstood harsh winters and stone abuse at the front of my truck and looks great. I would recommend the avs hood deflector and would definitely recommend autoanything!
