You have to completely remove the front grill to install this puppy. I tell ya it's pain in the butt. I tried for an hour and I can see myself breaking the clip tabs off of grill on brand new F150 truck as I was struggling away with it. I think you need special tool to remove the grill which is not mentioned in the install procedure. The instruction didn't work for me, if I force it that would highly likely result in breaking the clip tabs on the grill. On hold until right tool is found.

I am very pleased with the hood protector. I installed it myself in an evening. You must remove the grille and will likely break some of the clips, not to worry. It looks great and fits perfect.

Looks good. Wasn't quite as simple to install as stated online...but nothing a few minutes (and a few beers) couldn't fix. Took about 30 minutes to install. I would recommend getting some trim pry bars for a few bucks before getting started. Getting the grill of the F150 was a pain.

Works and looks great! A little tricky getting the grill off broke a few of the tabs, but no big deal you really don't need them. Quit no wind noise at all.

Works as described. Really like the behind the grill installation and the low profile. You paid for the chrome don't cover it up. Go ahead and get a nylon auto trim installation tool set (just a few bucks) and make the installation EASY!!!

Looks great! Love being able to see all grill chome and still protect the outside edges of hood. Neither are possible with current factory guards. A little tricky to get the grill off, but if you push up at the top of the grill and give it a firm hit with you hand from the bottom it will come off.
