WeatherTech Side Deflector - Pro & Con

Reviewed By WILLIAM T P (Port Penn, DE) Reviewed for a 1999 Chevy Tahoe —7/21/2012 8:49 AM

Pro: The thickness is excellent for durability. The ease of installation is excellent. For a smoker, smoke and odor can escape my vehicle even when it's raining and I crack the window slightly. They are attractive and match my vehicles finish. Con: The price is a bit high. Packer 49 only sent 1 set of mounting clips for the pair of deflectors. It takes 2 to install. Luckily a branch fell on one of my old ones and left the mounting clips. All in all, I really like the product.

Installation

Reviewed By Roy G (Coweta, OK) Reviewed for a 1999 Chevy Tahoe —3/27/2012 5:11 AM

The installation for my 99 Tahoe required installing the metal clip which installs on your window/CAR door frame. It was a little difficult to figure out but once you do, it is easy to install. I would suggest making a video showing how to install this with the metal clip. Thanks.

Stampede TAPEONZ Sidewind Chrome Window Deflectors Reviews

wow! really added a classy look and serve their purpose.

Reviewed By PAUL A (GREEN BAY, WI) Reviewed for a 2013 Chevy Tahoe —9/22/2013 7:54 AM

I've had the stampede products before and went with them again. stampede has a very nice sleek appeal with a classy look not to mention the purpose they serve. I enjoyed added these to my truck. you just need to be very patient to put these on to get them aligned up straight. I used the blue painters tape to hold deflectors in place for final stick down. make sure you check alignment from the front and back of vehicle as well as the side view.
