Looks vs Functionality

These deflectors look awesome, install in minutes and work well - if they stay in place and you can get the window closed. The in-channel design provides a superior clean look over 'pasted-on' models but some older vehicles with power windows may have trouble. The deflector shares the space in the window channel with the glass; a tight squeeze. If the electric motors that raise the window are tired, they can have a hard time closing all the way. Once the window is up, it can pull the deflector out of place on the way down.
This is probably an issue only in older, well worn vehicles, like mine.
