The design of the 2009 Pontiac Vibe's rear windows makes it impossible to leave the windows down if it might rain, which is exactly the reason for my purchase in the first place. The windows are oddly shaped and, when lowered about 1/2", there is an approximately 2" x 1/2" vertical opening at the rear which cannot be protected by the deflector. This won't work in Florida where we are subject to short, but torrential, rains at any time during hurricane season. The front deflectors work as designed, however. I have no idea how they could design around the window shape and do not fault the manufacturer for this. In any "normal" installation, these deflectors will bring you years of joy, happiness and peace. . . just as they have on my 2002 F-250 crew cab. Joe - Ruskin FL

I looked at every brand of window deflector, including the ones from the Pontiac dealer. The WeatherTech are the only ones that fit inside the window frame. They are also much thicker than the others and have no distorton. I had WeatherTech deflectors installed on my 2003 Chevy Avalanche the day I bought it, and they are still perfict. Based on these factors, I decided to install the WeatherTech deflectors on my new Vibe myself. I is so easy to do because no tools or special skills are required. It took me less than one-half hour! The look, fit, and function are exactly what I expected. I highly recommend these window deflectors to everyone I know. You really do get what you pay for.
