Great vents at an even better price!

Reviewed By Matthew H (CARY, NC) Reviewed for a 2014 Subaru Outback —4/26/2016 5:07 AM

I put the vents on my Subaru Outback and love them. My only issue is the thickness of the vents is taking some time to break into the weatherstripping of the window channel. The front windows work fine, but the rear driver side window sometimes won't roll up all the way because they vent gets in the way. Not that big of a deal for me because I never sit in the back of my vehicle. I would have considered the external mounting vents, but didn't like the look. Overall, I am happy with the product!

Weathertech side window deflectors- just OK

Reviewed By Ralph F (LIVINGSTON, NJ) Reviewed for a 2010 Subaru Outback —4/7/2015 10:42 AM

I've had window deflectors on the last three Ford Explorers that I've owned. I always liked the look, and the way they provided ventilation but still kept out rain or snow. These Weathertech vents look OK, and function the same. However, they simply fit in with tension, as they sort of "snap" into place with no adhesive. You bend them in the middle once you insert the corners and let it seat itself in place. However, the vents don't always allow the windows to close completely. The passenger side window will make a creaking noise for a minute or two before it finally sets itself properly.
