AVS In-Channel Ventvisor Reviews

Does the job and looks good

More difficult to install than the surface attach type but it did preserve the chrome trim appearance. Some reviews spoke to difficulty raising the windows but, I waited the recommended 24 hours with the window up and have had no problems.

WeatherTech In-Channel Side Window Deflectors Reviews

Weathertech side window deflectors- just OK

Reviewed By Ralph F (LIVINGSTON, NJ) Reviewed for a 2010 Subaru Outback —4/7/2015 10:42 AM

I've had window deflectors on the last three Ford Explorers that I've owned. I always liked the look, and the way they provided ventilation but still kept out rain or snow. These Weathertech vents look OK, and function the same. However, they simply fit in with tension, as they sort of "snap" into place with no adhesive. You bend them in the middle once you insert the corners and let it seat itself in place. However, the vents don't always allow the windows to close completely. The passenger side window will make a creaking noise for a minute or two before it finally sets itself properly.
