AVS Ventvisor Window Deflectors Reviews

why didn't I get these sooner!

Reviewed By Colleen E (Carson City, NV) Reviewed for a 1999 Suzuki Grand Vitara —8/18/2009 5:21 PM

I got these deflectors in good time and then let them sit in the car for a week before I put them on. I thought it would be difficult to get the plastic lined up just right. I finally figured out that if you put two fingers inside the deflector and touch the metal frame from both ends it aligns perfectly. Took me one crooked window deflector to figure this out since there are no directions. Once it's on, there's no changing it. I love the way they work. I live in a very hot and windy area, and the vents actually help keep the car cooler, let in less reflected glare and aren't that noisy. On my car, they look like they belong there, not beautiful, but I would'nt take them off for any money. Should have got them a long time ago instead of just thinking about it!

Look and function well

Reviewed By Karl F (Meridian, ID) Reviewed for a 2007 Mercedes-Benz C-Class —3/1/2015 6:13 PM

I would have given 5 stars overall, but the metal clips provided for the rear deflectors were too long to fit properly on my 2015 Fusion. I cut about 1/8" off and filled the edges smooth. Then they worked well.

Looks Great for the Price

Reviewed By Robert C (DeLand, FL) Reviewed for a 2007 Chevy Silverado —3/1/2015 3:14 PM

The ventvisor look great and as good as others on the market for a better price. Did have some problem with the tape provided as it appeared to be old and did not want to stick. Right rear window would not go all the way up because the tape was not holding. Hoping after it warms up it will stay.
