AVS Ventvisor Window Deflectors Reviews

Does the job.

Good option to allow hot air to escape with windows cracked open. Easy to install. Chose double sided tape option rather than in-track option based on other reviews. Disappointed that rear window deflectors don't allow the crack open option but that is a vehicle design problem, not AVS. When you crack open the rear windows, the opening is not just along top edge of window. You needn't buy the entire set, just the front set.

Makes clicking noise when closing window

Reviewed By Frank l (Falls Church, VA) Reviewed for a 2008 Toyota Highlander —7/27/2015 9:10 PM

The only downside is the driver side, not the other side, makes an annoying cl8cking sound as the window closes. Maybe the install wasn't perfect.

Easy Install, Nice Fit, Looks Good

Reviewed By harrison r (Santa Fe, NM) Reviewed for a 2015 Toyota Tacoma —7/27/2015 2:51 PM

This is my second set of AVS visors, they work, they're easy to install, and the fit/finish seems just fine. Minus one star removed from ease of installation: The alcohol wipes provided are too small to properly clean the window channels. I just used a bottle of rubbing alcohol and paper towels, and tossed the wipes in my first aid kit. One installation tip: use gentle upward pressure on the window along with the window switch to fully seat the window before letting sit for 24 hours.
