After several months of searching (Subaru dropped vent visors several years ago) for my '09 Forester, I found the AVS units. While I was a bit concerned after seeing the package marked '08 - '09 Forester (they are far different) unpacking and holding them up to the car, showed they were indeed correct for the '09. I had read several reviews commenting on the difficulty of installation, but after installing visors on all my SUVs for a number of years, and reading the AVS directions I had no problems at all. They are very rigid after installation, and work exceptionally well. A bit of additional wind noise with the window open, but that seems to be typical of all visor products. Very happy.

I recently ordered in-channel ventvisors from AutoAnything. The order came promptly, but when I went to install them, I noticed that 3 prep-pads weren't included in the packaging. I e-mailed Auto Anything and they had the missing items on my doorstep within 7 days. Now that they are installed on my new GMC Sierra, I am very impressed with them. They keep out the rain with the windows opened a little, and they provide additional shading from this relentless Florida sun. I like the fact that there is no gluing on the paint like there is on external visors, and they were very simple to install once I got the front parts of the visors in the right grooves by the mirrors. Thank you Auto Anything. I will do business with you again.

I purchased the AVS Bugflector II for my 2010 Tacoma. I was impressed with the quality of the product. It's effectiveness is on a par with a previous defector I had on my 1996 Tacoma: it probably reduces the number of bug "hits" by about 30%, which is better than no deflector. My only criticism concerns the little fasteners which hold the unit to the underside of the hood. They are made of plastic and seem flimsy. They are also very easy to lose, as I learned when one dropped as I was installing it. Unfortunately, it was lost on the underside of my engine. I contacted the company and they graciously sent me an entire new installation kit as a courtesy, without charge. Overall, I am very pleased with the product.

The bug deflector I bought looks great while being somewhat non-descript after it was installed. The biggest issue you need to be aware of when buying this bug deflector is that the fastening screws that come with it for a 2008 Dodge Ram are not at all viable. I wouldn't dare go 35 MPH on a city road let alone 70 MPH on the freeway without buying and using correct fit fasteners. The ones that came with the bug deflector BARELY hold the deflector in place. Be prepared to buy and use larger fasteners if you buy this product. For a $100.00 plus piece of plastic I would have expected more from the manufacterer in the way of attention to detail.

This product is easy to install, looks great, and more importantly, prevents rain from coming in when the windows are opened 2". It also allows the windows to be open slightly when parked for good ventilation.Another feature I like is that when the windshield washer is used while moving, it prevents the fluid from dripping over the controls on the driver's door. A definite PLUS.
