Installed and now hood won't close.
I installed this exaxtly as per the ibstructions and the hood did not close properly because the plastic hood shield and the factory rubber along edge made it too thick to latch unless you really slammed the hood down. At that point the hood was a good quarter inch off in alignment at the front.
Two person job
I discovered that I couldn't screw into the pop-ins and hold the shield in place by myself as the pop-ins started to spin and came out of the hole they had been in. The end clips were extremely difficult to slide onto the edge of the hood. I had to get a small mallet to hammer them on which made me concerned about scratching the paint on my brand new truck. Finally the fit of the shield forces you to have to slam the hood extremely hard in order to close it, which I read in other reviews.
Mounts funny on a Dodge
I have been looking for a matte black bug gaurd for a while. I was stoked to find this, but I don't know if I'm going to keep it on. I thought it would mount like the one in the picture with the Chevy. On a Dodge, you loosen the front grille and then wedge this between the grill and the hood. It leaves a gap and sits kinda high. It looks alright, but I was hoping it would cover the top of the grill and hide the bubbles in the fake chrome.
