The rocket scientists at Volant have outdone themselves with this one. The Volant Cold Air Intake System lets your engine breathe huge gulps of cool, power-producing air for a massive performance boost. Increases of up to 18 horsepower, 40 ft/lbs of torque and even bolstered MPG are yours with Volant.
The Hi-Flow Velocity Air Box breathes in oodles of performance-enhancing air via the massive air duct. Many Volant Cold Air Intakes also include an enclosed air box that takes power and efficiency higher. Some drivers even report an increase in gas mileage by 1 to 2 miles per gallon. What's more, it can take less than an hour using standard household tools to replace the old, suffocating factory air box.
Best yet, Volant gives most vehicles a performance filter choice: the original high-performance cotton-gauze filter with cleaning intervals of 35,000-50,000 miles, or the oil-free PowerCore® air filter, requiring maintenance after a whopping 100,000 miles.
Thanks to the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act: US Code – Title 15, Chapter 50, Sections 2301-2312, your vehicle’s factory warranty is protected by law when you add aftermarket parts. Details

Has been installed for about two weeks. Haven't noticed any difference in mileage or performance. I will monitor mileage over a longer time frame.

Let's just say I'm not throwing away my factory intake just yet. -The instructions are pitiful. You can figure it out if you're mechanical, and it's not too complicated, but would have been a lot easier with good instructions. -The mounting bracket is a single bolt allowing the Volant air box to move and jiggle (compared to the factory air box that had three bolts holding it down.) -the MAF sensor o-ring does not fully seat on the intake housing, it leaks on pressure test. -Its LOUD!

Changed my Jeep JK 2012. I was getting 15 to 16 MPG, now I get a solid 17. The engine now sounds like it modified and response faster once I give it gas.

I was worried it may be to much for me to handle dealing with the air sincers but the instructions were step by step perfect and easy to follow, completed in under an hour, it gave the truck a nice sound and I bit more power off the start.

Installed on 07 Tahoe and there was a noticeable difference in takeoff. After installing a Magnaflow Muffler the next day I definitely could tell the difference in throttle. All in all it was worth the money and looks nice under the hood....
