"The Covercraft Custom UV Shield Sun Shade for our VW Jetta is a great fit for the windshield and easy to install, remove and store. I am sure it will protect the interior of the car and extend the life of the dash and other components. I highly recommend Covercraft to others."

Our Third Covercraft Shade

"We just bought a new CRV and my wife asked if the covercraft sun shade from her old 2004 CRV would fit. When I told her no the shape was different , she told me I better get her a covercraft shade right away. The fit is excellent, they hold up well and are easy to put in place. We had tried the flimsy type in the past and they are junk. The fit for the 2008 CRV is perfect. Highly recommended."

"This is my second Sun Shade. I like the ease with which it folds and unfolds as you put it in and take it out of the window. Keeps the temp. inside the car at least 10 degrees cooler than the outside temp."

"I have purchased at least a half dozen of these for various autos the last several years and keep coming back since you can't beat the custom fit and excellent heat rejection of these (especially important in Florida). Only cons are the price and the relatively heavy weight, which sometimes causes the shield to sag slightly in the windshield over time, mainly only a problem with larger shades, but I'm nitpicking. All the ones I've purchased have fit the windshield very well with the only gaps being around the rearview mirror which does make it easier to place and remove however."

"The fit is perfect and the shade really works well. I just wish it had a band to wrap around to hold it together when it's stowed. I know there is a custom bag, but that is inconvenient and overkill. Still great."

"The thicker structure works well to block heat. However, this also makes it a little clumsy to put up (aren't all of these things?). This is my second one, works very well in both vehicles."

"This is my second shade. Fit is good and covers entire windsheild. Only a 4 start because I'm not sure if the company did anything to make it last longer. First one last about 1.5 years before it became brittle and started to crack between the folds. We'll see..."

"Fits great, easy to put into place, a little bulky to store when not in use, but absolutely worth it. As many others have said, it needs an elastic band to keep it closed when not in use."

Best on the market

"The most effective sun shade on the market - bar none. With 11 vehicles and keeping them no more than 3 years due to mileage consumed, I go through sun shades, tires, oil and detailing supplies. The Covercraft UV Shield is better than any roll-up, cardboard or what-have-you materials for keeping your interior cool(er). It's not as convenient to store because it's not plyable and will crease if you bend it."
