Intro-Tech Automotive Ultimate Reflector Car Sun Shade Reviews

Beats the UVS100

Reviewed By Paul B (Golden, CO) Reviewed for a 2013 Acura RL —5/12/2014 4:19 PM

As the owner of a black car with black leather in Colorado, I do what I can to keep the temperature down in the summer. I had a CoverCraft UVS100 shade that I used last summer, and while it did feel a little bit sturdier, the light grey vinyl exterior was very poor at rejecting heat. The interior temp was better, but still quite warm. The Intro-Tech is nice because it's lighter, and the outside is a shiny mylar film which is very reflective; this rejects more heat and keeps the car cooler.

Sun Cover for a cause

Reviewed By Roy S (BUFFALO, NY) Reviewed for a 2013 Honda Civic —12/29/2014 7:16 AM

Cover for a cause in pink. The shade was delivered earlier than promised which is a very pleasant surprise. Under promise and over deliver is a great way to go. The sun shade cover fits perfect and we love the idea of a little help for the fight against cancer. We have several survivors in our family and know every little bit helps. The cover is high in quality and will last for a very long time. The reflective side (pink) is also washable which is a nice plus. Thanks for the great job.

WeatherTech TechShade Windshield Sun Shade Reviews

The shade fits nicely. It didn't arrive in time to try it with the hot weather. I hope it works well with cold weather since it is reversible. The suction cups help keep it stuck to the windshield but you really don't need them if you use the visors. I think the Velcro strap to roll it up is too short, so I fastened an extra Velcro tie to extend it. You can buy Velcro ties or straps at any store that sells Velcro.
