This car Shade was surprisingly easy to unfold and mount, I am impressed by how nicely it fits the windshield. It has a professional almost exotic appearance from a distance. It does a good job of keeping radiant heat out. It folds easily and feels light weight for effortless handling inside the car.

Intro-Tech Automotive Ultimate Reflector Car Sun Shade Reviews

Worth the cost.

Here in SoCal, its sun (UV) that destroys everything automotive, not salt. Vehicle protection is key for long term survival. Part of my regimen on all my vehicles is diligent use of windshield sun shades. I've used all kinds, the foamy roll-up aluminized mylar things; the silver-gray painted cardboard fold up type; OEM accessory ones; aftermarket ones' etc. Worn out a number of them over the years. What I like about the Intro-Tech Ultimate is its combination of the more highly reflective aluminized mylar on the fold-up backing. Easiest type to use IMO. You can even flip it around for wintertime interior warming in cold climes. I do wish the product fit just a little better (its not bad), in that it could cover a little more area, particularly around the mirror and in the corners.

custom fit was perfect for our Audi -almost don't need the visor to secure it's that solid....that being said it is on the bulky side re:storage,no problem for our wagon but would be cumbersome to store in a small car.
