BACK UP CAMERA

Reviewed By Gary D (Chillicothe, OH) Reviewed for a 2011 Chevy Silverado —5/11/2013 1:56 PM

I purchased this camera for my 2011 Chevy Silverado. The license plate camera was easy to install, since I already installed the wiring needed for the connection. The monitor has a good clear picture with color coded distance bars. I am using the power adaptor. I also hard wired the monitor and have the same voltage as the power adaptor, but the monitor does not work. I called the phone number, talked to a technician but he had no explanation on why it did not work or had any help at all.

Dolphin SonarStep excellent addition to Suburban

Reviewed By Stephen J (Hilliard, FL) Reviewed for a 2011 Chevy Silverado —12/31/2011 8:10 AM

Bought this to aid my wife in backing up her Suburban in tight parking spots. She was fustrated being cornered in parking lots due to the size of the Suburban It works extremely well, and she now has the cofidence to maneuver the vehicle without getting in and out of it to check her distance.

Good value

Reviewed By John C (Saint George, UT) Reviewed for a 2008 GMC Sierra —4/28/2014 8:14 AM

I bought this camera to assist in hitching up to my toys. Camera works good. Only complaint would be the deficiency of directions and options of powering the camera. I was hoping to power the camera by taping into the back up lights, but with the single cable of wires it was a little more than I wanted to tackle. I hooked the camera to my Edge CTS and installed a small switch for power. Works good and a lot less expensive than the EDGE Camera.
