Have run it on ac power only so far. Works well, when it cycles the temp. Drops to 27 29 degrees then slowly rises to the target temp. before it cycles again.

These are so much higher quality than what I was able to buy at my local auto supply stores, there really isn't any comparison. My one concern was that they are a little longer than most seat belt covers, so my seat belt is a little slack when fully retracted. But the extra length provides extra comfort.
